INGREDIENTS:
2 cups butter (do not use margarine)
1 cup packed brown sugar
4 cups all-purpose flour

Preheat oven to 325º.
Cream butter and brown sugar. Add about 3 1/2
cups flour and mix thoroughly.
Put the
remaining flour on the area you plan to knead the
dough on. Knead for about five minutes,
pulling in more flour as needed to make a soft (not
sticky) dough.
Roll to about 1/2" thick then
cut into cookie sized rectangles. Prick with
fork.
Bake for about 20 minutes (keep an eye on them
so they do not burn).
