Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped (optional)
2 medium bananas, sliced and gently mashed

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease 9 x 5 inch loaf pan.
In a
large bowl, mix together melted butter and sugar.
Add in eggs and vanilla. Mix well.
In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda and
salt. Stir into the butter/sugar mixture a
little at a time. Stir until mixed well.
Fold in the sour cream, bananas and walnuts
(optional). Spread into loaf pan.
Bake for 60 minutes. Check for doneness by
inserting toothpick into center to be sure it comes
out clean.
Cool loaf in pan for 5 -
10 minutes, then remove to wire rack to finish
cooling.
